Mission, Policies & Notices ...

Our Mission:
To honor the human animal bond by providing confidential, spiritually guided interspecies communication consultations to people and the animals they care about.
The goal of my work is to help people and animals move at their own pace. Together we hold the the space for emotional, spiritual, physical and energetic healing in harmony for the highest good.
I respect the diversity of all. I am committed to helping educate people to improve the living conditions and humane treatment of all beings. ~ Susan Hamlin
Important Notice:
Animal communicators are not veterinarians and do not diagnose or treat disease. Because you and your animal have free will, we cannot guarantee a particular behavior change or outcome.
Animal communication not a substitute for veterinary care, regular training, exercise, nutritious food, clean water and companionship.
Cancellation Policy
If you're unable to keep your appointment, I'd appreciate at least 48 hours notice. Full payment is expected for any session cancelled, missed, or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment (except in true emergencies.)
To change an appointment, clients are responsible for calling the office (not emailing) at 518-245-8010 at least one business day before the appointment.
Pro Bono ~ Charity Work
Susan is honored to support the work of not for profit organizations working for the well being of animals. She offers a certain number of telephone consultations per month for 501(c)(3) humane and rescue organizations.
Due to the large number of requests, Susan regrets she cannot donate consultations to private individuals. Heartfelt gratitude to the many volunteers who "walk the walk" by donating time and energy to the animals we share the earth with.
Missing Animals
Due to time limitations and the need to honor appointments with regular clients and students, Susan is no longer taking on lost animal cases. For resources to help find lost animals, please read "How to find a lost animal"
Professional Ethics
Susan subscribes to the CODE OF ETHICS for INTERSPECIES COMMUNICATORS formulated in 1990 by Penelope Smith.
With Gratitude ...
Thank you to for entrusting me with helping you and your animals. I am grateful to meet heroes every day who really "get" the human animal connection. Thank you for referring your friends, family and colleagues ... it is the greatest compliment of all. May you and your animal family walk in beauty, together, "ceilidh," for all time.
